TEA SEASON - Natural Botanical Perfume - London Fog Obscure
|London Fog Obscure |
Pour a sultry cup of steeped earl grey - osmanthus tea and drizzle it with rich cream and raw honey. Pull a fresh jasmine flower from the unruly blooming vine and tuck it into your tousled locks. Slip into something more comfortable. Curl up in your favorite leather chair, drape your shoulders with a silk crocheted shawl, and get lost in a book of provocative poetry.
Earl Grey is my favorite tea, followed second by lapsang souchong. But earl grey made into a London Fog by steeping in warm milk with a drizzle of raw honey and a splash of homemade vanilla extract ... there is something beyond perfect about it. Bright yet bold, tannic yet creamy and muted, uplifting and calming at once. Cool new England mornings call for steaming cups of tea on the three season porch. I often work first thing in the morning - in my nightgown, before the thoughts of real life get to me. My mind is still half dreamy, I have no concern with my wild hair, and my senses are open and receptive. If I have been working on a new perfume, I will dip a scent strip in it, collect my mug, my computer, and beckon my giant white cat Max. I shuffle myself onto the chartreuse couch in the porch for some thought and analyzing. Max splays his fluffy body along my side, and I sip my earl grey as thoughts come and ideas float. It is a sensual experience, cozy and romantic, and always nostalgic, as the hints of summer thin a little more each day.
Tea Season features my in house made artisan tincture of earl grey tea, jasmine buds and vanilla beans.
100% Natural Botanical Artisanal Fragrance by GATHER perfume
A NOTE FROM THE PERFUMER
** Due to the fact that I - Gather perfume - use exclusively 100% natural materials, batch variance is to be expected. This is the same in any luxury, handcrafted art medium ( such as dance and opera) and agriculturally dependent arts such as viticulture, honey, or microbrewery. Gather perfumes are often limited editions for this reason, as well as the fact that some materials can only be obtained for small windows of time or no longer available at all. If you prefer uniformity in your fragrances, you may want to consider a more commercially available or mixed media brand.
