The Personal, The Process, The Gathered

Earl Grey is my favorite tea, followed second by lapsang souchong. But earl grey made into a London Fog by steeping in warm milk with a drizzle of raw honey and a splash of homemade vanilla extract ... there is something beyond perfect about it. Bright yet bold, tannic yet creamy and muted, uplifting and calming at once. Cool new England mornings call for steaming cups of tea on the three season porch. I often work first thing in the morning - in my nightgown, before the thoughts of real life get to me. My mind is still half dreamy, I have no concern with my wild hair, and my senses are open and receptive. If I have been working on a new perfume, I will dip a scent strip in it, collect my mug, my computer, and beckon my giant white cat Max. I shuffle myself onto the chartreuse couch in the porch for some thought and unfettered analyzing. Max splays his fluffy body along my side, and I sip my earl grey as thoughts come and ideas float. It is a sensual experience, cozy and romantic, and always nostalgic, as the hints of summer thin a little more each day.

Tea Season features my in house made artisan tincture of earl grey tea, jasmine buds and vanilla beans, however don't be fooled. Tea Season goes beyond your average cup of tea, with waxy apricot notes of osmanthus flower, a grounded warm hug of woods, and touches of jasmine green tea in the sillage.

A NOTE FROM THE PERFUMER

** Due to the fact that I - Gather perfume - use exclusively 100% natural materials, batch variance is to be expected. This is the same in any luxury, handcrafted art medium ( such as dance and opera) and agriculturally dependent arts such as viticulture, honey, or microbrewery. Gather perfumes are often limited editions for this reason, as well as the fact that some materials can only be obtained for small windows of time or no longer available at all. If you prefer uniformity in your fragrances, you may want to consider a more commercially available or mixed media brand.

With Love,
Ananda

Beautiful

This is a very special fragrance. It's exactly what I was hoping for: a tea perfume that actually captures the experience of drinking tea, a cozy fall gourmand that isn't too heavy with sweetness. The vibe is calm and awake, perfect for fall, winter, and rainy days.

Invigorating yet very Autumn

Just like a good cup of earl gray only way better. Has the uplift of tea but also the calming umami theanine nuance. Not too sweet or gourmand but very moreish. Wish i bought a bigger bottle of this one.
The basil is also lovely. Thankyou for the sample it is fresh like a spring garden of someone who actually takes good care of their plants luxurious.

A cup of tea

This is a lovely cup of tea in a perfume. The tea starts off crisp and lemony, almost tart. Then the spices slowly make their way in and the cream, honey and vanilla come in and create a very cozy, yummy, gourmand fragrance. My husband loves this one.
