Crisp folds of linen dried on the bergamot soaked breeze of an Italian villa. Lavender infused cotton skirts and simple canvas slip-ons. Timeless with the touch of a fine oak barrel aging a perfect chardonnay. Smooth mossy rocks line the cobblestone pathways. Vacation or just move?
Style: Classic, Fougere, Balanced, Sophisticated
Strength: pure perfume extrait
This simple yet traditional blend is inspired by my classes at Providence Perfume Company. It is one of my favorites to wear because people respond so well to it .. it's the one that people love even if they 'hate perfume'. It is a newer perfume and reminds me of my recent trip to Provincetown, MA with a handful of witty and wonderful friends. We lavished at the ocean and took on the town with robust laughter, oysters on the half-shell, and late night conversation about the meaning of success. We sipped bourbon nightcaps and breakfast bloody marys and soaked up the good life. Lavender Fougere is upscale comfort that I liken to the feeling of freshly line - dried linens. There are mossy, beachy nuances along with a classic refinement that match the Cape to perfection, and no doubt the perfect perfume for a traveler. Italian bergamot contrasts the sweet herbal heart of lavender while the classic oakmoss base note gives familiarity and class.
Artisan tinctures of garden grown lavender with white clover and tonka bean give this perfume the perfect amount of coumarin it requires to become a true Fougere.

A NOTE FROM THE PERFUMER
** Due to the fact that I - Gather perfume - use exclusively 100% natural materials, batch variance is to be expected. This is the same in any luxury, handcrafted art medium ( such as dance and opera) and agriculturally dependent arts such as viticulture, honey, or microbrewery. Gather perfumes are often limited editions for this reason, as well as the fact that some materials can only be obtained for small windows of time or no longer available at all. If you prefer uniformity in your fragrances, you may want to consider a more commercially available or mixed media brand.
